Grace Classical Academy exists to glorify God by cultivating truth, goodness, and beauty through a Christ-centered classical education, equipping students to bless those around them.

You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.  Matthew 5:13a,14

A Message from our
Dean of Curriculum

Jenica Crotts

Believe it or not, the end of the first quarter of the 2025-2026 school year is already in sight. The growth and dedication of both students and staff in these beginning weeks have been inspiring to witness.

In our pre-school training back in August, the GCA teachers and staff imagined what our classrooms would look like if we fully submitted our teaching patterns and practices to Christ's supremacy. What if we lived into the truth that in Christ "all things hold together" (Colossians 1:17, ESV)? The picture that comes into focus from asking this question is one where teachers and students rest in God's grace and flourish as they live in alignment with God's purposes for them as His image bearers.

My prayer for the remainder of this year is that we would welcome Christ more and more into every corner of our hearts and our lives as we seek to glorify Him in all we do. Thank you for supporting us and praying alongside us in this.

In Memory of Holly

Holly was a joyful and enthusiastic student who loved to make others smile. After a courageous ten-month battle with brain cancer, Holly was called home to be with the Lord. Holly attended GCA from kindergarten through the start of sixth grade, when she received her diagnosis. She loved Jesus and wanted everyone in her life to know and love Jesus, too.

We have the amazing opportunity to create a scholarship fund in honor of Holly. This is an opportunity to carry on the legacy she left here at GCA. If you feel called to be a part of this, here are two ways to contribute:

1) Please send a check to the school and note Holly Scholarship in the memo line.

2) Donate through the website, https://wearegca.com/support/. Scroll to bottom of page and select "Click Now to Support GCA!". Then type "Holly Scholarship"  in the add note/comment box once you have set up donation through the various prompts.

Thank you for keeping Holly's beautiful memory alive at GCA. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

A few highlights from the first month of the school year. From being blessed in assembly by pastors to art class, recreation, and our first PTO meeting, it has been a great first month. Please continue to pray for our students as they learn to live like Christ and be the "salt" and "light" to those around them.

Ambassador Program

This year, GCA is working to further partner with churches in our area by forming the "Ambassador" program. This initiative is designed to deepen our connection with the community and help share the mission and vision of GCA more broadly.

Our Ambassador Program is centered around three main pillars:

1) Prayer - GCA would love to be prayer partners with churches as we work to reflect Christ where we all work and play.

2) Connection - GCA wants to provide updates about what is happening to allow others the opportunity to be involved.

3) Support - GCA depends on the financial generosity of others and can provide ways to support our mission.

The most important aspect of this initiative will be that it is a two-way operation, allowing GCA to pray, connect, and support our local churches as well.

If your church would like to be a part of our program or find out more details, please reach out to us. We would love to connect.

The ART Corner

Students have been hard at work on one of our favorite projects: Square 1 Art! From Kindergarten to 8th grade, each class is creating masterpieces that parents can order as keepsakes. Stay tuned for more details from Ms. Acs to place orders for this fundraiser.

Take a sneak peek below:

Left: Kinders Loey and Jeffrey practiced creating hearts and patterns using the oil pastel watercolor resist technique, connecting to their science studies.

Above: 7th graders Annabelle and Easton worked on scripture art after studying Matthew 5:13-16.
